Morwellham Sheds & Garden Furniture is a small family run business situated on the edge of Dartmoor, Tavistock Devon. We’ve become highly recommended and offer an excellent customer service.

We can offer a full range of products all MADE IN DEVON in our own workshop. We have been manufacturing garden furniture for many years and we believe that by making the products stylish and heavy duty will go on providing you with comfort in your garden year after year.

Individual products for individual customers all made to measure to your requirements; quality assured and finished off to an exceptional standard of workmanship.

All our products are manufactured from pressure treated softwoods, which as a natural product is affected by climate changes including humidity and heat consequently during dry spells you may find that the colour changes and the timber will peel and splits will occur, theses are harmless, quite normal and natural looking. Ourselves or our timber manufactures can’t be held responsible, it’s a natural process.

Pressure treated softwood will initially have a green appearance that highlights the natural variations of the wood. This will weather to an attractive natural honey brown colour before fading to a driftwood grey after long exposure to the sun.

Pressure treated (not painted on) means it has already been treated therefore lasting a lot longer and you don’t have to apply anything like creosote to it (leave it to weather naturally)

Some customers on the other hand do like to enhance the appearance of the product and apply a weather resistant finish. Application of a good quality clear water repellent or a semi-transparent decking stain will help. To maintain a modern natural look deck oil or Danish oil can be applied. Always follow the manufacturer’s recommendations.
